Own platform reliability, scalability and cost across our multi‑cloud stack as we pivot to a B2B model. 


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Hit SLOs: define SLIs/SLOs with service owners; run error-budget reviews; cut alert noise.
  • Run the platform: landing zones (Azure/AWS/Alibaba) + on-prem
  • Own the network edge: Firewall, load balancing, VPN/SD-WAN, site LAN/Wi-Fi; run NOC playbooks and vendor escalations.
  • Incident: lead restoration with SRE; chair infra CAB; enforce change windows, evidence, and rollback plans.
  • Observability: Build clear dashboards for Ops and Execs; wire runbooks to alerts. RUM/synthetics.
  • FinOps: right-size, commitments (SP/RI), logging cost controls; stay within budget while holding SLOs.
  • Security by default: partner with Security on hardening, access, and compliance.
  • People & vendors: coach leads, run a follow‑the‑sun on‑call rota, and own critical vendor escalations.


What You Bring to the Team

  • Led Platform/SRE/Infrastructure in a 24×7, high‑throughput environment (gaming/fintech/e‑com a plus).
  • Depth in AWS/Azure/Alibaba Cloud
  • Strong on SLO/SLI design, DR (RTO/RPO), CI/CD gating, and FinOps.
  • Comfortable with Terraform, GitHub/Argo, and modern observability stacks.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CDN/WAF/DDoS and large‑scale load balancing.
  • Regulated market exposure and vendor management at scale.
  • ITIL 4 familiarity and COBIT‑aligned governance.

How we will measure impact

  • Service SLO attainment and error‑budget health on top services.
  • P1/P2 restoration times (MTTR) and change failure rate.
  • DR readiness (tabletops and partial failovers executed).
  • Alert quality (noise reduced; runbooks linked; paging only on real impact).
  • Cloud and logging cost trends vs budget while SLOs hold.
