Job Purpose

As a Platform Product Owner, you will act as the bridge between business objectives and technical execution, driving the development of innovative technology products.

You will define product vision, prioritize features, and manage the product backlog to ensure delivery aligns with stakeholder needs and market demands.

This role requires a blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and Agile expertise.


What You’ll Be Doing

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate a clear product vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
• Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, refining user stories and acceptance criteria with input from stakeholders and development teams.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, engineers, designers, and customers to gather requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables.
• Agile Delivery: Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring the team delivers high-value increments on time.
• Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.
• Technical Alignment: Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure technical feasibility and scalability of solutions.
• Metrics & Reporting: Track product performance (e.g., KPIs, ROI) and report progress to senior leadership.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that could impact product delivery or quality.
  

What You Bring to the Team

• Experience: 2+ years in product ownership, product management, or a technical role (e.g., Business Analyst, Software Engineer) within a technology-driven environment.

• Technical Knowledge:
  - Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  - Familiarity with technologies relevant to your product domain (e.g., APIs, cloud platforms, cybersecurity).

• Certifications: CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Skills:
  - Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  - Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  - Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, or Aha!
