Why We Need You
The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible to strengthen our cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, and Alibaba Cloud environments by designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls, ensuring that our cloud environments remain resilient, compliant, and secure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, security best practices, compliance, and automation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure, and Alibaba Cloud environments.
• Collaborate with CloudOps, DevOps, and Application teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and drive remediation efforts.
• Configure and manage cloud-native security tools such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender, and Alibaba Cloud Security Center.
• Develop and enforce policies for identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network segmentation, and data protection.
• Monitor cloud environments using SIEM and cloud monitoring tools to detect and respond to threats.
• Automate security processes using infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
• Support incident response and perform forensic analysis for cloud-based incidents.
• Provide technical guidance and training to engineering teams on secure cloud practices.

What You Bring to the Team

Required: 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security or cloud architecture roles. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, IAM, container and Kubernetes security, and data protection in multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with security automation and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and business teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous learning mindset and passion for cloud security innovation.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Alibaba Cloud Security Expert.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
• Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
