👉 Why We Need You

We are looking for a talented and experienced English speaking Senior Front-End Developer to join our Kuala Lumpur team in a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead and develop high-performance, visually polished, and accessible web experiences. You will be a technical leader within our development team, making architecture decisions, driving code quality, and mentoring junior developers while delivering complex features across our digital products, and play a key role in driving the adoption of AI-assisted development practices, leading the effective use of AI-enabled engineering tool solutions to improve developer productivity, code quality, test coverage, and delivery velocity.

👉 What You’ll Be Doing

• Front-End Development - Architect and build scalable, maintainable, responsive front-end solutions using Angular (v17+) and TypeScript, following modern Angular architecture, coding standards, and development best practices.

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, including at least 3 years of hands on Angular experience.

• Performance Optimization - Optimize for Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, code splitting, and fast load times to deliver a smooth user experience at scale.

• Component Libraries - Design and maintain reusable component libraries and contribute to the front-end design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across products.

• API Integration - Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend services; handle real-time data via WebSockets or Server-Sent Events.

• Code Quality - Write clean, testable code; conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards using ESLint, Prettier, and automated testing frameworks.

• AI-Enabled Development Practices - Lead effective use of AI-assisted development tools to improve team productivity, code quality, test coverage, and delivery velocity while ensuring security, maintainability, and architectural standards are upheld.

• Mentorship - Guide and mentor junior and mid-level front-end developers; contribute to technical decisions and front-end strategy.

• Collaboration - Work closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, QAs, and product managers in an Agile environment to deliver features end-to-end.

👉 What You Bring to the Team

• 5+ years of front-end development experience, including 2+ years in a senior role

• Expert proficiency in Angular (v17+) and TypeScript, with proven experience designing and developing scalable, enterprise-grade applications. Experience with React or Vue.js is beneficial but Angular is the primary focus of this role.

• Strong understanding of browser rendering, performance optimisation, and Core Web Vitals

• Strong knowledge of modern angular state management (RxJS, Angular Signals), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and modern CSS architecture.

• Strong knowledge of SCSS/Sass, Angular Material and Tailwind

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern front-end build tooling (Vite, Webpack, npm, esbuild)

• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication with cross-functional teams

• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude or similar platforms is highly desirable.

• Professional proficiency in English is required.

👉 Preferred Skills

• Professional proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred

• Knowledge in automated testing (playwright, jest) is preferred

• Experience in fintech, or high-traffic consumer products

• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and module federation

• Knowledge of SSR/SSG frameworks such as Next.js or Nuxt.js
